ABOUT CC

Christine aka “CC,” is a Creative Director, writer, and creative leader at Disney’s Yellow Shoes, where she blends storytelling, innovation, and emotional resonance to create work that moves people and shapes culture. She believes the magic of creativity lives in the sweet spot where imagination meets insight — where storytelling becomes an experience you don’t just watch, but feel.

For over 17 years, CC has led breakthrough ideas across global brands and entertainment. Her creativity pushes beyond convention; like redefining modern dating culture for Match through a scripted, podcast-style series starring Rebel Wilson, breaking the mold of traditional product marketing by spotlighting real-world behavior with humor and honesty. Or like when she helped Game of Thrones inadvertently invent prestige-influencer marketing before it was a thing, turning celebrities into passionate advocates simply by sending them the coolest, most covetable swag HBO had ever produced.

Today at The Walt Disney Company, CC channels that same future-focused spirit into some of the world’s most beloved IP. She has helped lead storytelling for Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Campaign, the launch of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and redefined ‘content’ for Disneyland’s Merchandise Collections. Along with integrated creative platforms across The Disneyland Resort throughout the year. Her work doesn’t just promote experiences, it celebrates what it feels like to be part of them.

Before Disney’s Yellow Shoes, CC helped build culture-driving ideas for brands like Netflix, Google, Coca-Cola, Uber, HBO, Paramount, Amazon, Pokémon, Target, and Tillamook, delivering campaigns that drove engagement, sparked conversation, and earned meaningful recognition — including being named one of Business Insider’s “30 Most Creative Women in Advertising” and creating one of the ‘Top 50 Super Bowl Campaigns of All Time.’

As a leader, CC believes creativity should feel brave, not safe. Her approach centers on mentorship, inclusivity, and a shared sense of purpose. Because when people feel empowered and supported, they create the kind of work that makes audiences believe in something bigger.

A lifelong Disney fan whose imagination was shaped by its characters, music, and heart, CC sees storytelling not as a job, but as a calling. Her passion for creativity and people, paired with a deep respect for the Disney legacy, drives her to help lead the magic forward into its next era.

CC’s proudest accomplishment is being a mom to daughters Natalie & Bowie, attempting to not screw them up too much with her husband (and former creative partner) Clemente Bornacelli.
